Cell lines for In Vivo Imaging

Topic:

Strategies and protocols for implementing fluorescent and bioluminescent expression constructs for in vivo imaging.

Aim:

The purpose of this section is to share common successful strategies for in vivo imaging. details will include the selection of reporter constructs, the fluorophore, the method of gene delivery and selection and the method of whole animal imaging.

Required Expertise and Resources:

Successfully developing a stable cell line for imaging requires significant expertise if there is no existing construct or appropriate cell line at your disposal. However, once a functional construct is in hand, the approach is relatively standard and accomplished with common laboratory equipment and methodologies.
