Meet the Expert - Dan Welch

Introduction:

Dr. Danny Welch is an expert in the regulation of cancer metastasis with a specific emphasis on metastasis suppressors. Dr. Welch identified several genes whose loss promoted metastasis but leaves the primary tumor unaffected. His work has been a major force in exposing this aspect of metastasis. In addition to his research interest, Dr. Welch has been a pilar for the Metastasis Research Society serving as Secretary/Treasurer as well as President. He also has a unique expertise and commercial partnerships that promote the commericial and clinical translation of cancer therapeutics.
